Couple of my mates went this year, said it was amazing. So i'll be going next year.

Plenty of buzzing about to do yeeha :D

I went to Global this year, it was immense. Were hardly any pikeys or chavs, atmosphere was awesome and the tunes were just mind blowing.

I like all music but dance is the only music I feel I get my money for. At a festival like GG or Creamfields you can pretty much go anywhere, in any tent and have the time of your life... all the music is incredible and you can't help but dance your ass off.

Rock festivals are great, but you pretty much map out what you want to do and where you want to go to see which artist because you like X song, at dance festivals you just follow the beat. Most of the DJs do sets you've likely not heard before anyway.

Eric Prydz did Pjanoo at GG and it was the first time I'd heard it, right before Tiesto's set (which I had actually heard on his radio station). Looking back on the vids on youtube just blows my mind.

I think my take on festivals is the other way around. Don't get me wrong i can see that Dance festivals would be awesome and i do like hitting the dance tents after the bands have finished at a rock festival. But, for me there's nothing better than seeing a band up on a huge stage playing there instruments live. When they get it right it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Plus you can have a good mosh. For me, i just don't think listening to a DJ could compete with that.

Each to their own though. :)

Someone has never heard of Qlimax then. The visual effects alone would blow your top off.

I have been to festivals....

/Haz

My real names harry, haz for short, to avoid any confusion.

I love live music, i love dj sets.

I love live music that does breakbeat, so your pretty much listening to dance/trance.

But at the end of the day, lets get wasted.

amen.

Hmmm,

Doesn't matter if it's weed or coke, they are both drugs. Just because 1 is an A and 1 is a C class or whatever they are now, it's no different. People get just addicted to weed as they do to coke.

All im saying is, the way I see it, Gandi is contradicting himself.

Im not partial to taking weed regularly i simply meant i'm used to others doing it and don't feel so strongly on it.
You read my post, you saw i said i knew a guy that did get addicted and messed up due to weed - so yes i agree, they can get just as easily addicted.

My point is probably contradicting in the essence that i'm more accepting of weed as it is a drug more accepted by society? Hell society and the government contradicts themselves in that case? Oh wait, there's no surprise there.
