Global Shout

If we don't have Stalls in this game would it be easier to make it so that we can have Global Shout as a command?

For instance..

In Mir3 once you reached level 33 you could global shout and everyone on the server would hear it, this was an amazing way to sell items or even recruit for guilds.

Yeah you may be able to buy it using GG but that's alot of GG if you want to recruit for your guild or even sell an item because running from town to town to shout would be an awful expensive trip especially if you wanted to get to PB..


Just an idea,

Needs to have a cost, or people just spam it. And not everyone want's to be spammed with immature chat.

As skyline mentioned if global shout is freely available it becomes more of annoyance and the point you are trying to get across will be more likely to be lost in spam.

We could add a cooldown but then imagine 350 users using their global shout every hour or 2, again the message would be lost.

The only viable option i see is a gold to shout npc, but this creates a bigger gap between the wealthy and the poor, its definitely an option though.

I agree global shout is good for sales it allows others to know your selling something rather than people having to look through 20pages of the trust merchant and so on.

I also think it brings banter and competitiveness to the game. Introducing global would most likely enhance gameplay. Yes some people will get annoyed from immature shouts and spam but you have the option to disable shout so whats the problem?

Of course there should be a lengthy delay of like 30seconds to 1minute and a level cap of say 30-40 to stop players login on new random characters to causes mischief.

One global shout per hour would be fine, and make it cost gold.

Make it so GlobalShoutScrolls aren't effected by this cooldown, done.

There are currently no plans to return the stalls, the TM is a more effective means of Buying/selling items.

I 100% disagree on that global chat will become spam. There are simple things that mir3 also had make global chat 33+ means only around 150-200 online players can use it, people can disable global chat if they dont fancy getting spam if you call it that. Also global chat has a 20 second cooldown and thats more then enough. Ive litterally never though stop spamming from the global chat in mir3.
also trustmerchant needs to have other costs as atm its not really worth selling anything worth less then 30 k as 20k would make profit but you rather want to afk when away to get the whole 20k instead of losing 10k and having 4% tax which leaves you with 9200 gold .

Global shout shud be in game. No mater about spam mising offers or anything. Its just part of mir and i have no idea why its not here ...

It isnt part of mir. Never was.
Its mostly abusive malicious temper tantrum toddler trash talk which isnt funny and gets in the way of people selling.
If you are going to put in global shouts make it 44 + and then have a system allowing people to report waste of space nastiness and get them global chat banned for a month for each piece of **** they toss into the air.
I personally do not care that Tash takes it up the bum. (an easter event shout) Its hosted in a free country (UK) and I am not religious. I am repelled by the verbal viciousness among these players. Its a game. Go release your toxic poison in the gym or irl fight club.
