Heres a simple guide to playing a private server.
First visit THIS this section to find out which server you feel like joining.
There two types of servers 'judgement of blood' or '3G - Prelude to war'.
Note: Which ever version your chosen server is defines which client you need. You cannot mix and match.
Now visit THIS link to find your client download. You will need an official client.
Depending on which server type you've chosen you will need the following files...
Judgement of blood (job) - Mir3Install_V1.4.exe, mir3_patch_V1.4-1.45.rar
Prelude to war (3g) - mir_install.zip
The server you have chosen to join will tell you the type of server it is.
Download the correct client. Usually the client download link will be in your chosen server thread.
You now need to change the ip and server name correctly.
With 'Judgement of blood' you need to change ini files. These files will usually be found in your chosen server thread. Simply download these files (2), and place them in the root folder of your client.
With 'Prelude to war' you need to change mir3.cin. This file should also be found in your chosen server thread. Download this file and place it in the root client folder.
On occasions you need a new mir3.exe, this WILL be found in your chosen server thread if one is needed. Again place this in the root client folder.
Thats all you need to start playing. Wasnt that simple?
