As people have already said, I really don't see how downgrading to 2.3 is going to help you at all...I think people play Elysian for the new features, not for the well written scripts and such (sarcasm intended).

The problem is, I think, the fact that no one really knows what it's all about, and the lines seem to have overlapped. By that I mean are they coding to create a good set of files, or are they coding to make Elysian server? I know for a fact that the answer used to be the first option, and even if that has changed to the second, their hearts aren't in it. I think in the eyes of kyndigs, Elysian was/is just a hamster for bug testing. You got carried away and thought they'd do what you want and when you want it? And it didn't happen.

This is true i wont hide it.but me and paul told them both a number of times what can be done to make the files better.

in the end both kyn/lil/paul are very good mates of mine and i will back them in any way they need.

surely everything u can do on 2.3 can be done on ur 2.6 files?

No on ruby you cant due to its outttest code same as when eruo went down alot of ppl dont understand that.

And its only that afew people on lomcn know what it takes to code and debug a set files. aka matt/ben -us-with kyn/lil.

i dont see many other team joining to try some diff other leeching off others work.

Maybe you should have had kyn and lil concentrate on coding in the features TD coded to make it more customisable, instead of just going for official features?

We tried for ages and weeks and weeks of nagging to get the features/systems we needed for the game to run properly and progress, But lil and kyn have there own ideas on what they wanted to add.

I do think that was 1 of the biggest downfalls of Elysian, kyn and lil had more than enough ability, but they just seemed to code whatever they wanted, not what was needed by the team. Maybe a slight lack of team work? Who knows.

They do have the ability.But your right.They wanted to work on there own things.In the beginning they would add what we asked fore/needed but over time they had less time to devote and just added what they wanted to and not what we needed

These files are nothing like 2.3.Every thing we need has to be coded in.It only has euro stuff in and every thing else has to be coded in to fit.
This is the main reason why i wanted to go back to 2.3
Doing this would allow use to use custom maps, custom mobs,variables and every thing else thats great about 2.3
2.6 only benefits really from fishing,tigers and the quest system.Its not a great loss to loose for a while untill 2.6 gets sorted out

Your missing the point, most of the people on here, do not want to play a server ran by you, weather its 2.3 or 2.6.

Reason your server got those 8ppl playing it is those lame features you mentioned.Other than that there is nothing uber about it.It is a usa/euro clone and everything custom u added is just ****.Would love to see you trying to make a 2.3 with usercount of 3 lol.

the biggest mistake was opting for the usa lvling system, and then having madly OP stat items. If you had kept it to the old xp table, and simply changed item skins and slight change in stats, the game would have been far more balanced. As it was, you needed to use 4 buns of hp just to refill your hp tank on a warrior at higher lvl. It was a case of trying to jump in at the deep end. If you had stuck with the original xp rate and strengths, people would still have played for the extra features, by having the usa xp system it just made the whole thing way more complicated than it should have been. I lvled 3 times on that server, never again, I wish you all the best with the files and I hope our testing has helped to move the files forward for the whole community.

1) You threatened to attack someones server every 10 minutes, because it is a copy of Elysian, yet yours was a copy of Mir Revenge.

2) You shouldn't be allowed to run a server, and if it wasn't for IceMan (somehow trusting you) then you should have been banned by now.

3) It shows how ridiculous you are, £200 for a pro/para/tele/clear, as well as the ridiculous prices you sold things on Elysian for (which IceMan had no idea of)....Vn1 backpocket.

4) You took donations on your other server Salvation, then 2 months later started selling the server.

See the underlying problem with Elysian was the fact that kyn and lil didn't care about the server. All they were interested in were the files, and Elysian was sadly just an easier way of getting things tested.

Its all good matt,Ely was a test server along as i said in a other post.

I will always be here to help them test there work and we did a pretty good job of it.

Tbh are points where said on here no need to keep up the flaming for nothing.
