Got Server Online But carnt log in or make account?? help

The host of my server has just tryed puting the server up he changed all IP's that ware 127.0.0.1 to his Pc's IP then runs server the server is online but i get to the log in screen type my ID/PASS in & it just stops there it wont log in & the host/gm carnt even make an account any help would bereally good ty.

Have you changed the IP/Server name in the client?

the server is online as i can connect to it

& the host is not on a router just off pc atm for testing.

sounds like its your ip/server names are wrong somewhere, or his firewall might be blocking certain gates. theres not alot of info previded so cant give an exact answer
