500mhz P3 decent chip for its time, and with a TNT2 you got a decent machine there for the likes of Unreal Tournament and Half Life. My old machine was a P3 450 with 128mb ram and a TNT2 and ran Half Life a dream. Cant go wrong with a TNT2 I'm still using mine to this day in my second machine, which is 1.4ghz Athlon 512DDR

your system should run mir2 and mir3 perfectly at those specs. ive seen Mir3 run on a P2 233 with 64mb of ram and intel intergrated graphics perfectly. if your card is a TNT2 like you say it is, it should work perfectly under Windows XP. Mine does. just get the latest drivers from http://www.nvidia.com

I take it your running win98 on your P3 Pc.

Like ppl have said XP runs OK on P3 PCs, its more of a memory thing, I dont like to install XP on a P3 with less than 256 of memory.

If you were to ask me what to do over a pint at the pub, I would say, back up everything you want, like all your mir stuff (winrar and split them onto CDs).

Make sure your bios(hit delete key) is set to load from cd-rom 1st and just put your XP Home/Pro disk in and format your drive and install xp.

On a side note if your new XP Home/Pro has SP2 on it you my have trouble, hopefully not.

Remember this was over a pint, so remember its your PC, so do what you want to it.

Cos if this happens :spc: its not my fault.

To answer you, your video card is good enough for XP,mir2 and mir3. Just get the latest updated drivers.
