Excuse Mr Data's sarcasm Lee. What you've experianced is a well documented error. Many Linux mailing lists have extensive information on the subject which I presume will be of great help to you. All you need to is search google for the following error code - which I assure you will tell you exactly where the problem lies;

"PEBKAC"

Good luck ^^

Linux on installation errors is usually due to not having enough required installation memory, as it says, happened a fair few times, basically your best option is to reduce the amount of packages you install.

I wonder if the error message really said "not enuf"

It's really annoying if you can't even type the exact error... it's almost like "I got a blue screen of death with a stop msg 0x000000somethinging"

I find google very helpful.. but only if you put in the exact error message and in quotes.

linux installations require hardly no ram John, hence why you get vps's running on 32megs of ram.
