Gtx 970 code 43 error

hi, ive just got a new pc installed windows 7 installed board drivers restarted the pc. gone to install gpu drives everything as worked ok. then i go to install steam/ark and my pc crashs start it back up go on device manager as my desktop res as gone massive. and it shows the gtx970 as a code 43. im reading it could be dead. can anybody help me?

ive uninstalled the card installed it stil the same coe 43

im not a code specialist or anything but alot of people have been having problems with the gtx900 series needing the motherboards bios to be updated. check on the motherboard manufacturers website and look for the most up to date bios they have.
