- First off i would like to say: i am making this guide because i found konis a little hard to understand, and this guide may be a little easier to understand

- This is for a router
===========================================================

1. It is a good idea to find you your EXTERNAL I.P. to begin with. go to http://whatsmyip.org/ To find out.

2. You are also going to need to find out your INTERNAL I.P. address.
Go start > run > cmd then type in 'ipconfig' without the ' ' you should then see your ip address which should be something along the lines of 192.168.0.2

* I think it is 192.168.0.* If you are using a router. but 127.0.0.1 If you are using a modem or w/e

* Please note If you see a ip: 0.0.0.0 Then do NOT change it.
Eg: GateAddr=0.0.0.0

3. Now you will need to go through all your files changing the IP's and server name where need be.

FOLDER - DB SERVER

File - !addrtable.txt

INTERNAL I.P.INTERNAL I.P.
Eg: 192.168.0.2
192.168.0.2

File - !serverinfo.txt

INTERNAL I.P. EXTERNAL IP 7200
Eg: 192.168.0.2 20.222.233.112 7200

File - dbsrc.ini - now you must find the following lines and change them:

ServerAddr=192.168.0.2
ServerAddr=192.168.0.2
GateAddr=192.168.0.2
IDSAddr=192.168.0.2

======================================================
* From now on i am Just going to use the ip example and colour
======================================================

FOLDER - GAME GATE

File - Config.ini - Find the needed lines and change.

ServerAddr=192.168.0.2
GateAddr=192.168.0.2
ServerAddr=192.168.0.2

FOLDER - LOGIN GATE

File - Config.ini - Find the needed line and change.

ServerAddr=192.168.0.2

FOLDER - LOGINSRV

File - addrtable.txt:

;No space allowed
;Server Title Remote Public Gate...

Diamond Diamond 192.168.0.2
20.222.233.112 20.222.233.112:7100

File - serveraddr.txt

192.168.0.2

File - logsrv.ini - Find the needed Lines and change

DBServer=192.168.0.2
GateAddr=192.168.0.2
ServerAddr=192.168.0.2
FeeServer=192.168.0.2
LogServer=192.168.0.2

FOLDER - M2Server

File - runaddr.txt:

20.222.233.112

File - servertable.txt

; Followings have to be arrayed by server no.
;server no. connect-addr port
0
20.222.233.112 7200

File - Setup.txt - Find the needed Lines and change

SQLHost=192.168.0.2

* Now scroll down to the bottom and slowly go back up untill you come accross this: * they must be changed :P -

GateAddr=192.168.0.2
GatePort=5000
DBAddr=192.168.0.2
DBPort=6000
IDSAddr=192.168.0.2
IDSPort=5600
MsgSrvAddr=192.168.0.2
MsgSrvPort=4900
LogServerAddr=192.168.0.2

FOLDER - SelGate

File - Config.ini:

[SelGate]
KeepConnectTimeOut=60000
Title=Diamond
ServerAddr=192.168.0.2
ServerPort=5100
GateAddr=0.0.0.0
GatePort=7100
ShowLogLevel=3
MaxConnOfIPaddr=10
BlockMethod=0

=======================================================
* that is all the ips Done
======================================================

4. Now To port forward:

Find out The make And model of your router and then go to

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

and there should be a guide to forward the ports. click on the router that is yours and then click on read defaly guide for this router neer the top of the page.

The ports you want to portforward are:

*7000 tcp/utp
*7100
tcp/utp
*7200 tcp/utp
*3000 tcp/utp

note., port 3000 is not essential for port forwarding but it is needed for server monitors to check your server.

* The guide should tell you aobut letting access through them ports on the routers firewall. if it does not you must do that, in the firewall section of your router. i opened them for inbound and outbound and it worked.

Now finally you must allow the ports to be open on any other fiewalls you may have. even if you do not have a fire wall remember to go to windoes firewall and make exceptions in there. and turn allow exceptions on!

ok what iv put in red needs chaning as routers can display 192.168.1.* and 192.168.2.* iv never seen it go higher than 2 tho so just b careful and the 127.0.0.1 shouldnt all stay the same/dont have to stay as that.
