I personally like this idea. A lot.

There's two chambers, each identical rooms. Mobs spawn in these every minute. (A random boss from a list.)

Also spawning randomly are "Statue"s - these are mobs with high hp but no movement or attack speed (so they just stand there in effect). When you kill one of these, an extra boss spawns in your opponent's room. Obviously bosses have no drops.

So you have to devide your firepower between staying alive and fighting off the monsters + bosses and spawning extra mobs/bosses on your opponents.

Obviously it gets more and more frantic until one team wins.

More Variety

If you wanted to make it more interesting, you could also have a "SpecialBattle" mode.

This is like the former, except that in addition to "Statue"s spawning, there's other special ones (more rarely):

- "TrickStatue", very easily killable, if killed it spawns a boss on your OWN side.

- "ClearStatue" - quite rare and quite hard to kill. This clears all the mobs on your side when killed. Spawns some good statues on your opponent's side too though.

- "SneakyStatue" - spawns several dud bosses on your opponent, just to confuse them. Sometimes along with a real one. Eg. Mystery WTs.

- "SheepStatue" - spawns a load of sheep on your opponent. Quite easy to kill and entirely useless.

- "GuardianStatue" - spawns an ArcherGuard (not the uber townarchers, the quite weak ones) on your side.

- "ScalesStatue" - spawns a boss on each side. Quite easy to kill.

- "MasterStatue" - lets you choose between several other types of statue effect. Quite rare. (Not Doomsday or Clear statue though.)

- "ResetStatue" - clears both sides of mobs for the time being. Hard to kill.

- "DoomsDayStatue" - spawns 2 bosses on your opponents.

- "RandomStatue" - Does what it says on the tin, a random statue effect. Trickstatue included in this list!

"BonusStatue" - Maybe the most interesting! Die easily, read below for bonus rounds information.

===== The result:

Frantic and fun gameplay. Decided by skill, yes, but also by spawns and tactics. If you're lucky enough to get one of the rare statues - Doomsday or Clear - this obviously has a major impact. (And you're glad to see them!) These can easily turn the tides of the game.

These new statues make for some seriously chaotic stuff - not to mention tactics - using a ScalesStatue (quite easy to kill) when you're on top of things and think you can finish an opponent off, for example.

Things like accidentally killing TrickStatues adds to the chaos and to a point the skill factor.

No match is ever completely safe, because of the randomness in which bosses and statues spawn.

Bonus Rounds - Kill a BonusStatue and the person who got the kill is teleported out of their chamber into the bonusroom. There they have a random bonustask - with a winning or losing forfeit. Some examples:
- Kill (completely) all the zombies that spawn in the bonusroom within 60 seconds. Random amount spawn.
- Script teleports you fast between your chamber and the bonusroom - you have to press stop. Landing in the bonusroom = win.
- Roll a dice over a certain number.
- Guess how many players left alive in opponent's room. (Close = win, far off = lose)
- Survive 60 secs with a fairly fast instant-kill mob by running from it.
- Questions.
- Get out of room 36 (casino) within 2 minutes.
- Get through room 34 (casino).

Complete the bonusround - random prize (usually bad for opponent's room!) Lose the bonusround? Random forfeit - from spawning on your own side, to personal things for the person who did it - like tele out or steal all your pots.

One nice bonusround prize is tele into opponent's room - can cause a bit of havoc, and if you live long enough set off TrickStatues.

From what I understand it's sort of a Tetris duel thing (where when you made a line go away it added a line under the other player)like when you kill a boss another boss add's to other room and if they kill a boss it add's to your room. This could go on forever as the groups could be matched evenly or just the other group a bit stronger.

:D Cheers for the nice comments guys.

For the person who asked how it works - the bosses just build up, spawns keep coming, and if you've got time to kill a statue, opponent gets one. And with the other random bonusstatues that spawn - it can get pretty hectic.

Before you can finish one thing off another's spawned etc - really fast paced, quite tactical... mainly meant to be fun.

But I think it's important to have some restriction on using it. Else the fun will quickly wear off etc. What I propose is each guild pays a certain fee (eg. 10mill) and the winner takes all. Or even better: Tokens dropped by bosses are needed, plus a fee. Winner takes combined fees + an item. (Result of the tokens).

Nice one. :) - When I get a decent PC I'll have to try your server out... partly to see it, partly because whole thing looks pretty cool.
