Replace HardTorch(S)12/12 in the game shop with HardTorch(M) 20/20 (same price)

As the average level is increasing as does the required hours of leveling per level. Hard Torches just do not last long enough for the standard person who is happy to support your server but cant buy huge quantities of game gold daily like some.

I know the (S) stands for Shop not Small but it works brilliant for progressing this along.


Also Sam agreed a long time ago that adding EXP pots into drops at a very rare rate would be done just to offer the standard player a taste of the boosted exp, any news on that?

+1 on this dude after all I seem to remember the GMs agreeing that people shouldn't be able to gain a huge advantage by donating now without mentioning any players names we all know those with enough cash simply cain the exp pots and curse immunity pots .... It would be nice for the players that haven't got more money then sense to be able to use these too

Good suggestion. Its silly that people have to level in 'shop' gear to save the duras on their good kits. Imo you should be able to hunt in your best kit whenever you want and i think making hard torches more common/longer duration is fair. People will still donate as they require more levelling time as you say.

Changes like these would make me want to play my warrior again. I really don't like grinding away my gears in a days hunt. Im sure alot of you will agree. But meh Im just bored.

I think ur lucky there's even d12 torches in gg shop, I'm sure the gms were biting their lips when they changed this. Considering certain players are spending £150 a day on torches and exp pots I can't see them being upped in dura by almost double, halfing the servers income almost lol. I for one wouldn't consider upping them if I was a chronicles gm lol. Getting rid of d.5 torches is something that should be done tho and replace them for (s) ones

Wasnt there a thread about not having them in game at all?
They stagnate economy and mean that once you got your best kit you keep it forever.
THink GM said that the torches only slow dura loss not prevent it . I think they should slow it a bit less.
That would penalise avergage players. The £150 a day people would just pay someone to make them more items or buy them.
So leave it as it is. The rich here will do whatever they want anyway

Agreed, Staff would make a lot more money from new buyers if people thought the torches and even exp pots were worth the outlay, even if they lost abit off the top end I would think.

£1 and £4 quid for an hours hunt when even with the .5 a lot of people wont do much over a % or 2. Needs to start scaling with the higher lvl's really, specially as there are no new lvling areas for quicker exp gains at higher lvl's
