Haveing prob's Runninf some game's...

Hy all i built a PC about a year back & its been running fine intill now im running...


AMD Phenom(tm) 9500 Quad-Core Processor
3Gb Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 64-bit
GeForce 9600 GT 512

The first game i played really was Star Trek Online & that ran fine iv been playing Battlefiled BC2 alot & that been running fine but iv just got a copy of APB & i can run it but when i drive cars/vans i get reall bad ingame lag.

I'v tested my pc here... www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ for APB & i fail them min spec so i decided to test my system on STO & BBC2 & im under Min on them to the only thing that lets me down is the GCard,

It's strange because i got this GCard to run STO & i was allways way above the Minium so why has it now gone below?

Iv updated my drivers but that makes no dif


I fail on Hardware T&L (Whats This?)

whats your processor ghz? APB requires you have atleast 2.4

its a quad core iam pretty sure it will be more then 2.4...

Iv got a stick of Ram 2Gb to put into my PC i got 2day its just the GCard thats leting me down but this card should runo it.


Can i over clock a GCard?

you seem to have a descent computer but really a 256mb g card lol , you can pick a gig 1 up for like 50-60 quid?

id just update your g card.

Ouch, the Phenom 1 wasn't very good. At least it's a quad, you would be gutted if you went dual.

Pick yourself up a nice 1Gb GPU as said, like a Radeon 5xxx HD & you should be fine.

Nom nom nom.

Perhaps this, also their warehouse is in Horwich (Bolton) so you could go pick it up to avoid delivery charges like I did.
