Hi i have added the mob to the mongen but they just wont spawn, The map is hell00 & iv called it Zulu in the mapinfo.txt but i just Carnot get mobs to spawn there.



Any hint's?

can u tele to the map ok? if so nothing wrong with mapinfo

post the line of mongen here

aswell as the mobs from the database

eg.

Mongen =

0 524 564 RakingCat 150 5 18 0 1 0

database =

10 RakingCat 81 17 26 25 0 70 1050 50 0 1 1 4 8 0 0 5 5 1000 1 0 2000 No 0 No -1 0 0

I can telly to the map fine useing @move hell00 & i have NPC's there working fine to.

im sure theres a FLD_LOAD in there... 2 after the time

wheres the loadgen bit your're supposed to have in Mongen.txt?
And I thought there was also a folder named Mongen in Evir folder where you then had what you have above inside that?

At least its that way in Lemon 2.6

Inside Mongen folder in Envir have text called Archer.
Then inside that text you have something like,

Maybe its different in the files you are using.

lol........... u dont have to do it the loadgen way, i dont.

u can do it that way to keep it neater and tidier thats all - makes no differnece

i dont use loadgen i just use mongen.txt works fine (lemon btw)
might start using loadgen i like things neat ^^

yeh you just need the mongen txt, or you can load the mongen folder from the mongen txt its up to you, i preferre to just use the mongen txt tho :P

In the MonGen Foulder i have a mongen.txt with all the server spawns inside it.

All caves spawn fine & town & the archers ingame, Its juat the new spawns i add dont load, I added spawns to f001 just to see if they would spawn & nothing.

add the spawns to there... are u addin it to Envir/Mongen/mongen.txt by sounds of it??


add it to the mongen.txt in the envir folder thats near mapquest.txt, mapinfo.txt, etc etc..

the mongen folder is there if u want to use loadgen to seperate each of ur caves into folders to make it sorta neater and tidier to find stuff, but i have ;OmaCave etc above all my spawns ne way so takes me 2secs to find the spawns ne way

and ur welcome

the mongen folder started back in the 1.9 days

some ppl like it keeps the spawn cleaner and easyer to find

also if u use loadgen make sure to put space's inbetween each load
eg..

loadgen 7-22Caves\TrainGrounds.txt

loadgen 7-22Caves\OmaCave.txt

or some wont loads weird ino :S

It can be done two ways

Mongen.txt
; Inner Bichon-province

0 350 200 Hen 25 5 5

Or

Mongen.txt
;Towns
loadgen Towns\Bichon[0].txt

Then

MonGen Folder

Then

Towns Folder

Bichon[0].txt
0 350 200 Hen 25 5 5


Why two ways to do this ?

Well it was done to keep things tidy but its main reson is for online server that hold events

So you can make event folders and lock them vir mongen / loadgen, this way you dont need to keep messing with event mobs all the time

Exsample
