hd films from laptop to tv?

is there a program you use to make films high def while playing them on laptop and using tv as monitor?

like if you was watching films from a site on the tv, there a way of getting it hd n lookin good?

im all hooked up the tv thru the hdmi cable etc. just wondering if theres a video player you can use to get it full hd (1080)

Well if you've already got the movie, then either VLC, BSPlayer Pro (maybe norm) and MPC Home Cinema player will all play your movies in 1080p afaik.

Unless you download a 1080p source or find a way to upscale the source then no
The tv will make it look a little better anyway but thetv in no way can upscale an avi source to 1080p

Most tv shows are 720p anyway only blu-ray or HD-DVD source is 1080p and you are looking at 10 to 30 gigs to download a HD movie

mine has too, good for watchin films on tv, makes the quality a bit better for copys n stuff yet to watch a hd film through it thats why i was asking if there was a program you could watch it through to make it hd.

Ah i see, Googled it appprently you can get such thing as "Zune player" also goto your display settings and select the output from what i gather.

I get 1080 films at about 8-12gig a pop. Got quite a collection now.

So yeah you wanna download them in HD, nothing will make them like that, perhaps they can be stretched but lolpixels.

If ya catch my drift!
