HDD forking corrupted

When I try and slave my other HDD i get a boot error saying foad you stupid prick you ****ed the drive up (or something similar) -.-.

easy way to fix? can i just blow on something?

also, what's the cheapest i can expect to pay for a 300gb IDE? i want cheappp, i don't care if it transfers at usb speeds.

get two toilet rolls, a vinyl record and some crazy glue - make your own.

ermm,, think i did a smiliar thing once before..

im sure if u boot up with xp cd in drive, you have and option to repair the boot sector of the drive,,,

I just got a Samsung SP2514N 250 GB 8 MB Cache ATA 133, works perfect, just need a hdd cooler too, it's boiling.
