the 2.3 files allow the use of healer ants and they heal other mobs around them when they are attacked ,
they also heal you when u are attacked , so imo id say you can make something along those lines . i know these healers exist in 2.3 as RZ had them and i was being healed .

Make a mob as usual but use the following foir race, raceimg etc:
race 169,
raceimg 122,
mc = healing power
just tested it ingame so i know it works. And it only took 2 seconds to figure it out lol.
However as for getting the mob looks of humans like OldSkool has i couldn't tell you. Hopefully Bon may shed some light on that part.

Race = 169
RaceIMG = 0
FLD_IMGINDEX = Any of the numbers below (Thats just what i've found with a half hours testing. There probably is more as OldSkool has Human mobs with the armour wings, i just ain't found them yet lol.)
0 = male naked
300 = female naked
600 = male base dress
900 = female bass dress
1200= male Lt/medium armour
1500= female Lt/medium armour
1700= male warrior lvl22 armour
1800= female warrior lvl22 armour
2100= male wiz lvl22 armour
2400= female wiz lvl22 armour
2700= male tao lvl22 armour
3000= female tao lvl22 armour
3300= male warrior lvl40 armour
3400= female warrior lvl40 armour

As far as I'm aware the FLD_AGGRO is the distance you need to be from the mob before it attacks you. Can't remember but I think it's 8 spaces from your char to the screen edge so less than 8 would need the mob to be on the screen before it sees you, but you can also set it higher (this is usually on bosses) so it comes at you from a couple of spaces off screen.
It's been along time since I've done anything Mir2 though so please let me know if I'm wrong
