Heavenly sword

I want to bring to your attention that heavenly swords damage is now ridiculous as it 2 hit me as a warrior hitting about 200+ each hit and i have 500+ hp now i understand that it needed upgrading but i think it is abit to powerful that it can 2 shot me ?
Any chance u could take a look ?

An GenDancea level 35 or so just 2hit a warrior lvl 35 with heavenly sword 200-300 damage per swipe.
Needs nerfing again, did GMs even test this?

Heavenly sword damage...

Just wanted to say I opened this thread to discuss the recent changes to assassins and try get some reasoning behind it.

So you ''fix'' the damage on heavenly sword, an assasin with level 2 heavenly sword and shop kit + redmoon blades can now hit me for 120 damage, meanwhile my level 3 lightning does around 50 damage average to them. I really don't get the thought process behind your decisions Samuel, why do you allow a class that is already dominating and by far the most popular class on the server to outperform wizards with range damage when wizards are already struggling to even scratch the other classes.

If you respond to the thread keep it constructive and no cries please Mampi.

Would appreciate a response from Samuel, thanks.

+1 HeavenlySword is ways too overpowered.
Lvl1 should do 20-30
Lvl2 should do 30-50
lvl3 should do 60-70

Can you add more specifics on what the Assassin lvl and class was? As i am lvl 32 and my heavenly sword is currently lvl 1 and it's not doing anywhere near 200hp damage per hit. Obviously these things are gear dependent so that's a factor to take into consideration as well

im level 35 and sin was 35 and he 2 hit me as a warrior i had full mac kit on and he had the average kit of death gauntlets and coral rings so in my opinion it shudnt be doing that much damage

On the subject of Sins it's blatantly obvious to anyone that the class was designed for a mature server and thus gets all it's necessary damaging skills early on. I even suggested during beta what I believed to be a simple solution of making Haste the same level and rarity as Rage to both balance the class out and also lower the leveling cost of the class early on when it's bag weight couldn't cope with the max aspeed spammage of double slash; but instead a poll was made to lower the level of Rage and that was voted against by the community.

Having seen the Sin at level 50 on beta I'm not worried about it continuing to dominate the server at endgame but with the current drop rate of all the other classes' skill books it's going to be a very long time before things are balanced.

This is a good post. And to the thread starter, I agree that heavenly sword is overpowered. At lvl 0 in shop/basic gear it was doing 70/80 damage. At lvl 2 it does 120 ish and christ knows what it'll do at lvl 3, as if sins' damage wasn't enough. I dread to think what sort of damage they'll be doing when they get some semi decent kit.

Too late for what exactly? The server has been up for shy of two weeks, tweaks and nerfs are a matter of course. You test - gm's balance , let them crack on!

Up the cast time problem solved. I can hit over 100 with sin and 30dc just have to know how. I applaude any sin that can hit a moving target with hs.

Right OK, don't up the cast time as advised by a previous poster, nerf the spell. It's not supposed to pack a punch per se but definitely not supposed to pack a wallop like it does now.

I don't remember seeing anyone complain about it before the patch that made it unusable.
