Currently hell is one of the fastest ways of levelling for a melee/taoist combination. The most efficient exp is achieved when as soon as the melee kills a souldevourer, the taoist traphexagons the maggots. It only takes inoob/TAOSTAR or any other pair to fill the entire of first floor with hundreds of maggots which just make it an absolute pain for the people who come in behind them.

Is there any way you can either a) Give them an expiry similar to bombspiders so that they explode if left alone, OR b) make it so they cannot be traphexagoned forcing people to kill them.

The souldevourer has been designed to debuff groups whilst alive and upon death however the latter aspect is just being worked around.

Kill them. They give as much exp as the mob. Then kill inoob and taostar.

I agree to some extent but then what is the reward for being level 50+ for a tao?

I'd look forward to being a high level and being able to traphex mobs - it's like saying an assassin can open all the eggs in ant cave (the room before KR) and then cloak / SS over them so that any other class is pretty much screwed.

The Taoist can trap them at level 45 I think..

You can also level in hell cave by poisoning every mob, town teleport, come back 15 minutes later on exp pot and 1 hit everything with SFB.

i kill them when they are bunched up but hell cave 1st is just full of maggots all separated and you have to run up to each one individually.

Cast your level 46 skill Dark Body to run in and attack them .....

IF these maggots are easy to kill and give gd exp then it'snice of them not to kill though they are probably leaving as easy exp for the guild seeing as they never guild hunt this is their contribution.(except by request when the going gets tough call an arab)

You will be able to eventually. If you want to do it faster spend a lot of money and get rewarded for doing it or rope anyone you can into playing the char. Simples.

I don't think its much different to luring on doors.
You could flip this suggestion around and say, if people lure away from a door/route could the mobs run back to block the path automatically?

If leaving the maggots makes it harder for everyone else, id say its a tactic. a frustrating one but a tactic none the less.

Wasn't complaining. I just wondered if the maggots were easy to kill or not. If they are and they give good exp for not much effort then it's a bonus. If they don't give good exp then it's a tactic. Take a tao that can hex them.
