Hi, im thinking about returning to finish my server, how ever I have heard that. There have been some files released for 2.6?

My question

What one is better 2.3 or 2.6? I personally would like to spend my time working on a 2.6 depending on bugs and content,

2.3 has been done by everyone know and let's face it people are prob getting bored of it now

I'll take into consideration of everyones opinions

If it comes of it and I do decide to make a 2.6 server this time can someone link me to the guide for everything I need for 2.6, as I belive it's access not SQL?

Kind regards

I think it's best to start off using 2.6 now, there is near enough stable 2.6 files on lomcn called Primal M2, have a look around. 2.3 is boring now and outdated.

since elysian is 3.0 i guess we can call primalm2 something like 2.9 i guess since it has much more features than 2.6.... i'm just putting some numbers though.. best solution would be try out yourself..

my personal idea is that primal m2 seems a lot better than the lemon files we have now on the forum

you cannot put a number on it really, you just call it wotever you want, we could call 4heros 4.5 if we wanted, its just silly

its best to just say they are primal files, elysian files, and fourheroes files

These numbers dont mean nothing these days since the source is available for most files that are stable or files that are being constantly updated.

On Topic -

2.6 is better than 2.3, if you were to use 2.3 your best of with TD files and sql but you will need some query fix's in sql to stop certain programs / people destroying your server as TD files contain many problems that can ruin your server. So I recommend 2.6 by Primal. :)

Good Luck

You can't put numbers on it, lol. They are not official. We all know server files by 2.3 or 2.6. Most stable server files out are TD 2.3 server files but they are getting outdated since it's been in the run for so many years people are just getting bored. Now there are 2.6 server files named Primal which are near enough stable, but it's still being worked on and hoping to get it to stable standards in the near future if the project is still continued. I believe it will, the coder seems very determined.

not sure but you could simply compare to korean standards which i don't remember what number they have..

anyway what are the query fix's needed in 2.3 that skunk is talking about? never heard of that

and btw all the number talking was to make sure he wasn't talking about lemon files which are surely worst than primal m2 and thedeath's files..

I had a problem on my 2.3 server witch people where able to get there hands on any thing in the DB pretty much and I was sent some fix's by someone I cant remember now via msn and they sorted my problem. Think it was someone who was big in mos few years back he worked on fixing and hacking anything and he helped me out. Cant realy remember alot about it, it was a long time ago. Defo TD2.3 though fact. And another thing was people could take GM permissions from the GM only if the GM is logged off. I can remember copy n pasting all these fix's into SQL was quite a few of them.
