Let me translate this, is this right?

Have you launched your server with a Server Launcher which has your global I.P and Serv Name applied when it launches?
Have you got any active firewalls (including windows ones)
Have you tried different serv-files including fresh ones un-touched etc etc and still get the same prob?

ok ive tryed fresh files but half discovered the problem ime testing with a m8 atm
my pc hosts on a router with a static route set in the router. my m8es can get on but i cant. i have now realised that one setting in one file contains the address that runs the gates, a router guide tells me to set it to my internets ip but that stops me from playing. where as if i set it to my lan ip then others cant get on (currently testing)

Yeh i got this problem.. But not with 1.4 with 1.9 ^___^
Got 1.4 running over a router perfectly fine both me and someone else could connect ^_^

ok after pissing about for so long ime not getting tired and frustrated.
everything is setup good. iv mad sure all is configed right and narrowed it down to 1 line with no resloution
a file (C:\korea\mud2\Logsrv\!addrtable.txt) reads

from what i know i have. but ime not sure. there are many options and ive played about a bit with no joy
ok no joy at all. i set the paramaters in the router to divert all trafic over certian ports (udp and tcp) to myself but i cant conect
