[Help] Little bit of info needed

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 2.4GHz 1M L2 Socket 754 CPU

Does anybody know any online retailers that sell these CPU's anywhere please, they seem to be obselete >< been looking on everyone online shop that i knew of and not one sold this or higher.

Also is it worth me buying this or just buying new mobo + a better CPU any help with be much appreciated

Considering you can buy a Quad Core 2.4GHz INtel for £154 - then yer - sure lol

Socket 939 is a Bit easier to get but as they are all "Yesterday's" Chips and sockets - then your going to struggle - end of.

This comes in at £21 - what is your goal here? Bar E-Bay, I dont think many people will stock what your after.

well i just want to upgrade my computer, but when i was looking for some CPU's i noticed there was none for my socket, so i dont know weather to buy a new motherboard with one of the latest CPU's or buy that CPU from Ebay

There isn't a point in upgrading dead technology with faster dead technology. You should aim for a new motherboard and C2D
