Hi all.
Im not sure if anyone can help, iv never been a huge pc gamer so never needed to learn about ping and fps n all the things that make games run smoothly.
The game runs nice and i presumed everything was normal for such an old game but the things iv noticed are..

Things swing to hit me at my destination before i even get there on my screen. So a boar will already be swingin for me but im 2/3 steps away from that spot. It then hits me and stops my run pretty much every time, it makes luring quite problematic.
Blackmaggots . I canot outrun a single maggot on my screen they attack from 3-4 spaces away.

I thought it was normal as the maggots have always been pretty fast but then iv seen pretty much every player run straight past them. I know its down to me and my pc and not tweaks or the like but would appreciate some help on getting up to speed.

Iv heard alot about the virtual box thing you can get and run it in DCIT or something and will look into this when im next at the PC but does anyone else have any suggestions or use a vbox them selves and can offer trouble shooting info?

Thanks

I tried vbox so i can run the game in XP because for some reason i get 40 fps instead of 60 which can cause some issues in pvp. The problem was that i couldnt allocate more than 128MB of ram, no idea why because i have 4GB gpu. So for me it was a waste of time, unless someone knows how to allocate more ram.

you have to go to the virtual machine's settingsd and change the amount of ram

Try going to windowed mode instead of full screen and tell me if that makes a difference.
