hi i have just found out how to do the cruel dragon db things and i have finished but im using the manual that was in the post from farril and it ses it needs a hing to decode the !setup text thing and there is no setup text..or eiserver.exe with the cruel dragon files.....also when i try doing the dbsrv thing it comes up with win32 error the specified file cannot be found please can someone add me to msn and help me with it please.

/edit have found the setup text and the eiserver thing but when i launch the cruel dragon eiserver.exe it comes up saying ti cannot find the setup and runaddr when they r both in the folder with it please help sum1!

i really dont see how your having this problem if you've followed the guide provided in my thread and downloaded the correct files.

try starting over, no one else has had this problem. just follow the guide and you cant go wrong

the guide has nuttin in it saying how to prepare the files first......i have started over bout 3 tiems

thats because you dont need to prepare the files. you extract the folder to c:\ and follow the guides. no need for making new folders, changing file names or anything.

right i redid everything and its all working..... all my crueldragons es is 127.0.0.1 not ready what wrong?

oh my oh my... I do suggest you stop asking for help and try to troubleshoot this yourself... most of the stuff are on the guide.

your problem is SQL username/password
they are in...

they are all right i have checked em over and over is it summit to do with my client directory it is poisting to my mir3 game folder...is that right or not? does it need to point sumwhere else?

clientfile you just put mir3.exe and copy the mir3.exe to your mud3 directory

look in your !setup.txt, an ip is wrong, or an sql password is wrong. <-- IT IS THIS, so dont think otherwise.

its not crueldragon3g.ini because you wouldnt even get it loaded up.

last favour i will ask please can u give me ur setup texts...or at least copy and paste it...i dont know what goes where..it is different from the guide there are lots of differ spaces...just copy and paste the crypt into there and i will use the decrypter and change ips names and database passes...pelase
