[HELP] merging text

I have been using CS2 and i am having trouble merging text to my sigs, what ever font i use it just looks like poo basically.

Any help would be appreciated.

try using doubling it n doing one as blur or wind or summit.. will help blend it alittle more.. another way is to cover it with the background behind it but turn it lighter or outlined so its the background that wud norm be there but outlined so you see the writing

Right click on the text layer (in the layers menu), go to blending options, all sorts of effects and blending techniques to play with there

Either use a 1px black stroke on white text or then if you want put that layer on lighten..
