Help needed forgot windows xp password admin account

ive gone an forgot my password for my windows xp laptop my account is also admin dont now how get it back?
i tryed downloading magic suit o some thing burnet it to a cd worked fine but when i clicked reset admin pass asked to 2 buy it!
just wonding any one can help me out how to get my pass back with out paying torrent 2 download o some thing
would be a massive thanks if any one could help me
