Help Needed!!!

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and would appreciate a little help from someone that is running a private Mir3 server.
I have just set up a private server for myself and the kids to play on.
Server is up and running and seems to be be ok. The problem is, and I know this may sound a bit stupid " How do I create my Char "
I have tried the "create account" button at the login page b
ut it just kicks me out.
I know, that on the last private server that I played on you also could not use that button.
I did think that there would be a place to create a GM char, but I cant seem to find anywhere to set up an account as an administrator so to speak.
If any one could give any help on this subject it would be very much appreciated.
In the meantime I will carry on going through all the files in the hope that i will find it

open your sql enterprise manager
local -> databases ->account -> tables -> tbl_account

right click on it, -> open table -> return all rows

enter what you wish in the first 2 columns (login and password). and enter 0 and 0 in the next two. now you can close that.

that shld b it.

now login as u wld normally. and create your char as you wld normally.

I had done the first bit of that by putting in the login and password, but didnt put in the 0 and 0 in the next 2 columns.

m8 to make a GM uve got to add ur Character name to the !AdminList.txt. its in ur "Envir" folder.


it should be like this : -


* yourcharname


so mine says

* XeroXDaBomb

Thanx for the post Xero. I had done that already, amd thought that would log me into the server but it didnt ..hence the reason for my first post.
Farrils reply sorted out the problem of getting my char up and running ...unfortunately i have now hit another problem.
When I first click on the client I get a message box telling me that it cannot connect to the patch and would I like to run without the patch. I have had to say Yes (of course if I say no it just boots me out) and from this it takes me to the log in screen.
Next comes the char selection screen where i have made my char...i then go to enter game and come to the next screen. This the box where it tells you " connecting to server", " please wait a few seconds". This is as far as I can go, at first I thought that it was 1 of the gates not opening, but I have been back to all my DB sttings and they all seem to pointing to the right files...
I downloaded my client fron the "mirworld" site and ran the patch from the same site.
A friend has told me that I have to check whether this is a JOB download, so my question is does anyone know if mirworld is JOB site?
Ypu will have to excuse my ignorance on these subjects but I have always been just a player in my years involved with MIR and I know absolutely nothing about setting up a server.
I have used a setup guide that was written by mauldor from liquidsilver server and followed this guide to the "T".
I also have mauldors client and patch files but cannot seem to get these working and again it says cannot connect to the patch files...hence the reason for downloading the mirworld client.... Please, any help would be appreciated, if you can put it into laymans term it would be even better.
After spending all week setting up the server and trying to get it running, it is now starting to do my crust in lol.

What server files did u download m8? Then i (or someone else) can tell u what client to use.


I'm using kingnf1.1 (Kingforeiserver) with euro mir3 client.

Not totally sure but i think if ur using LSServer files (what they were callled when i downloaded them) these r job and u need a job client.

Create a shortcut for the Mir3.exe and chang the Target to "C:\PrivateMir\mir3.exe" -c -u -n

(Obviously putting the correct path to your exe file)
Then the exe wont connect to the patch server and you will be taken straight into game.

he can still get in game m8 its just he aint connectinn an wants 2 no what client he needs 2 use.

Was i right with the LSServer files bein JoB????
