[Help]Server

Hi, had a server up and running for offline use, was adding items / maps / npc's as usual and then my SQL went (suspect) ...so the database for my mirserver looked like this

lom2(suspect) - containing no files wot so eva.

so that being the case i recently deleted all mirserver components and reinstalled SQL to make another server ...but now i can't seem to get it to work at all.....first of i could make an account but couldnt get past charsel screen .....and now that ive deleted the accounts from FDB and IMDB, i cant make an account at all .. doesn't even come up with -1 fail error message.....Heres pic of it trying to run.


Any suggestions ... ive tried everything ... checked all the IPs are set to offline (127.0.0.1) and double checked that the ones that are 0.0.0.0 are left that way.My SQL is connecting fine, ive done the nessecary table deleting and restoring, ran out of idea's.

the dbserver isnt connecting fine to sql, suggesting the info is wrong for the sql part dbsrv.ini file.

i just found out with the lomcn 2.3 serverfiles you have to follow this guide

ive done that and made two seperate databases according to ini files ... so setup is called Mir1 and dbserver is called mir2 ....

ive got rid of that SQL problem on dbserver, but still cant make accounts. or login

ok now ive got past the account creation and login problem ... now i just cant make a character ...back to problem one with not gettin past charsel, Got this code after trying to make a char in dbserver

you dont need to have 2 databases, char data and other data can be in the same db,, out of curiosity what tables do you have in your mir2 db

well since ive seperated the two tables ive had no problems loggin in now ... just cant make a char ... il put a screenie of my two DB's

ok theres a screenie of it now ... i just deleted FDB and IMDB files again and cant make account no more lol ....

edit : ok can make account , still cant make char though ... still gettin code after tryin to make char

i would consider going back to a single db, here is a basic one with all updates applied made by Travis

and then make sure the inis are correct regarding SQL, all the ips required are 127.0.0.1..

im not sure but i think there is one that could need to be internal ip of the server machine (192.168.*.*) in the gamegate config, cant check, im at work

Okay, i done what you suggested ... made it a one database server...named it as Mirserver

Ive tried everything now, ive searched the forum for "Create Char" / "Cant Create Char" ...but ive tried everything there ....

i have the allin1 SQL, ive checked all the ip's ........doesnt anybody know!!!

Have you tried wiping all the chars and ids from both sql and the server files?

As there doesnt seem to be a problem with any of your gates by the looks of your screenie.

Yes ive tried all of that , ive deleted FDB and IDDB , also removed all fields in TBL_Charlist, TBL_Charinfo, TBL_Useritems, TBL_Usermagic

and still i cannot make a char ... lol , starting to piss me of

You 100% sure you have not changed any IPs?

Get a fresh set of files see if they run.

ive gone through countless fresh sets of files and done the same throughout each time

Never mind peeps.

replace logsrv and selsgate file with fresh copy of files it takes a simple space to **** it up,

also make sure your ports are set on router / net / config page settings
