[Help!] Video files not playing...

what OS are you using? i had this problem when i first installed vista, everything froze on every video, i reinstalled vista and worked fine since then.

Windows XP Service pack 1,

and gop did worse than the VLC lol

Firewalls = AVG free, Zone Alarm,

if it just that ur computer cannot handle the programs on it together with the movie, what u need to do is to press on start -> run -> msconfig -> uncheck everything u dont need there, then defrag ur computer, then restart ur computer and try the movie again.
