Just got a server up and running at strted trying to add some armours from leocrasher's website. I've been using the server editor to update database, and i think i've done it correctly with shape and all that and then I click update. However when i save the data base I get this error "[[Microsoft]][ODBC Paradox driver] Operation must use an updateable query". So this not working i tried adding it directly via DB commander, but there server fails to load up STDitems. I'm guessing i need to click some option to alolow the DB's to be changed but I haven't got a clue. Be grateful for any help thanks.

Not quite sure what you mean, but I haven't got both programs up simultaneously, or the server at same time, so no other program should be trying to use the DB's
Go to DB Commander, Load the stditems.db file, go to the bottom of all the items, press down to add a new one etc and do that for how ever many items you want etc. Say you do 10, hold down shift, and press the up arrow to highlight them, press the pink I at the top, in Index Options tick "Unique", in all fields double click Idx, then press Add so it looks like this. That should then let you edit them in mir server editor without having that error

Well some files like Alpha Frozen files etc have different items, it's best to make your own, then it's completely unique and no one can say it's copied. :P
hehe true, although this is mainly just for the occaisional dungeon crawl with a few mates when bored, not got the motivatin for hassel of a public one lol
Yah, well good luck with the server, need anymore help give me a buzz, it's alot of work to make a server public so sometimes just making one for fun with your mates is good, that way you don't have to worry about other GM's being annoying or anything cause it's your server :P
