guys me an ma m8 have set up a server....


it works an all but when we try log on we get a black screen.. any ideas??

Check all IP's are Correct and Server Name....

Check too see if FireWall is on too

ip and name are correct... dnt think thers a fw... but on M2Server it does say


ready to load ini file..

ur DB is set up wrong d\l and install db commander from www.dbcommander.com now go into controll panel click switch to clasic view if needed now open BDE Admin now click new click yes or ok on standard now where it says path... loacate it to ur DB in your server files e.i . C:/Korea/Mud2/DB

now click save as and put in HeroDB now click save click exit and yes then all done

ok now i try hosting instead of my m8... and i get "gate 0 opened"

if it says gate 0 opened u can usualy get ingame check the ini files in the client

1) Right click mirserver and click Search

2) In the second box type 127.0.0.1 (or the IP of what you are using).

3) Make sure there are 11 files found.
