nah it can also be in your stditems.db in the idx column(first column) it should start at 0 and keep going down by 1, somewere in that column there is a number that is ether off

eg. 0, 1, 2, 4

you are missing 3.

BEst way to fix this to to click column find your last row then find the number there, crtl+f type in the number and it will go through all rows, it will tell you how much rows it searched if the number is 1 ahead thena number was enter twice if it is the eaxct number a number was entered the same or missed out, keep doing that every 50 or so items up until it matches.

before you even start to create a server you need to have DB commander installed and you have to create a HeroDB .

in your controll panel there is an icon called BDE Administrator ... Double click that then click Object > New ...... click ok when it pops up saying "STANDARD"

Then rename the database (already selected) to HeroDB

once you have done that ...
click the littlebutton next to PATH and browse to the directory the DB files are stored (usually "C:\Mir2Serv\mud2\DB" )

then try running the server
