Help !?

I know im probs missing the most obvious thing but ive been looking for a while i cant find a guide that works making my server online - so basicly im asking help me put my server online - either reply on here or get me on [email protected]


Edit: to make the server i used the untouched files on fernys.co.uk and i have it all working but i want others to connect.

Instead of using the IP 127.0.0.1 use your Global IP.

so change every single 127.0.0.1 to my global ip and then just load the server and connect !?

Yup make sure you also have DBcommander installed and any major firewalls put down so you can run it.

i think u can just get the server starter and click settings > find my IP (then it gets ur IP.) then change the seerver name to whatever u want......not sure iff u have to edit the ftp. inis.

his client is prob still set to connect to 127.0.0.1 and not his net IP

Anyways, yes BH, i think you might be right.


Go in to your mir installation folder (by default it is c:\Program Files\Wemade entertainment\Legend Of Mir\

Go through ALL the .ini files you have there, and change anywhere you see an IP adress, or a server name, to match your server name/IP.

Make sure you've gone to your Legend Of Mir Folder ( Default C:/Program Files/Wemade Entertainment/Legend Of Mir

Open your Mirsetup.ini And place this in it:

In your mir.ini place this:

Go into your ftp.ini And put this in it

ServerCount=1
Server1Caption= <<< Your Servers Name
Server1Name= <<< Your Servers Name

If you've been through your server files and your I.P's and Server Name are correct that by using them your server WILL work...
