Help!!!!!

i get the following error when running eiserver.exe


Map File cannot be loaded, code=-10


Any help will be appreciated!!

Check the path you gave for the MapInfo.txt file in your db server options and your !setup.txt

in db server options should read something like
C:\Mud3\Mir300\Envir\

In !setup.txt should read something like
MapDir=C:\Mud3\Mir300\Map\

You need to have the trailing \ in the path.

Sorted it out i put a ; before map 9 in mapinfo.txt but i have a new problem, server starts fine but when i get to character selection screen it comes up with a box saying "SERVER IDENT FAILED RELOG PLS."

Any Ideas on this one plz let me know!!!

Check you have the correct servername in the following

Server side
!setup.txt
dbserver in the options

and of course ensure the client is changed as well in the mir3.ini / mir4.ini

[Server]
ServerCount=1
server1caption=Absolutely anything you want here
server1name=Your servername here

If you use the server control to start the server you should only need to change the db server and the client.

Checked all of the above and seems ok, can someone post a text copy of there working !setup.txt and mir3 and mir4 ini files si i can cross check with them.
