I don't mean to offend, but why is this server so hyped up?

Is it because there aren't many servers about atm? Seems like a normal server :| Too much hype won't do the server any good!

Highly doubt itl be up tonight seeing as GM guy has gone offline.... Tbh knew it wouldnt come up tonight, thought i'd be positive & think it would, But tbh its like every other server... Gets my hopes up then ****s me over. Dont know why couldnt of just released with just a IP tbh everyone already has 2.3 files.... And it doesnt take like 12 hours to upload a client unless you have a 56k Connection... The end of the day im very dissapointed at the moment.... Im a pretty patient guy, but at the end of the day its getting late and ill see it being tommorow anyway even though ive been sat here waiting delaying other things for this :/ sorry im not moaning just putting my point across. & its nothing against you its just every other server owner before has done it and im just getting fed up with it so i want you to actually bring the server out like i want and expect, and proove to us all your not just gonna be like the rest But otherwise good luck to you buddy ill still be playing when it comes up

I don't get it. Maybe im slightly dense in that capacity.
The point I was trying to get across was that earlier a number of problems were put forward by the server creator, or as I like to refer to them on LOMCN (Excuses.) Yet nothing has yet been done to resolve them. I don't even know why i'm posting this, other than to find out what mistake I made... please help me understood!

If you read through you will see a series of problems did arise.. How you can say they were not dealt with is beyond me. They have been dealt with quiet well in my opinion he has been polite and courteous throughout and kept everyone informed as to what is going on.

Problems are a part of life its how you deal with them that counts and so far he is doing well.

Some people expect to much to fast and to order. Real life does not work like that get used to it life is full of problems. Not sure thread needs locking but cleaning would be good.

yeh cleaning would be better than locking but then u wud get 20 messages of 'who wiped my post and why' which would mess the thread up again xD

all i no is hes currently uploadin server to dedi as well as uploadin the client .. hope this helps

why not think like most server owners do to start the client upload and everything a few days or atleast a day befor giving people the time to download instead of 1 big rush when its finally up?

Right, I'm not gonna mess about now. The server will be up tomorrow morning now. It could be up at 2-3am but what is the point of doing that when I will be in bed shortly after that.

To be fair, in my defense most servers that are delayed are usually by weeks. I said this would be up on the 23rd, and it will be up on the 24th. Big deal. I've had enough of being polite now, if you can't wait an extra day then you need to sort it out. Yes we had a few small set backs but it could have been a LOT worse. I've tried my best to get the server up on time for you guys and most have been understanding which I appreciate.

So thanks to those people and see you tomorrow.
