High level items

I'm going to voice this idea in the proper format as when I have mentioned it before it received general support from players but I never got a GMs opinion on it.

Idea: Visit a 'legend' npc who will happily take your high level accessory and he will trade it for the level 37 equivalent as he has no need for such trinkets.

e.g.
Pledge ring = Boundless ring
Divinity beads = Holy Tao wheel

Players such as bullpit and evilwomann can buy a pledge ring or level 50+ wizard accessory at the going price of a boundless or spirit reformer, a fair price in my opinion.

Didn't one of the team say that the wrong bosses are being killed for items like boundless etc to be dropping as often as you want them to?
Other p servers have made it so everyone gets what they want all the time. I do think that with the current team working on the bugs and suggestions patience would be a better solution that this npc.
This npc would undoubtedly be exploited somehow.
We were told the drops would change- they have. We are told this is being looked at.

If the drops do change, there will still be guilds with many drops that were useless and they'll be stuck with them from months of hunting.

As I understand it, the drop rate of level 37 items and level 36 weapons has already been changed by improving the drops from mid tier bosses. Mobs like orcs and frozen are 45+ so should be dropping high level items for when people reach those levels, my idea is just a temporary solution until people reach those levels.

Thats true. There are still people who havent got decent items/skills because the early drop files were so awful. Some who stayed have been rewarded even though it took ages.
Would your NPC be taken out after a month? 2 weeks? Or were you thinking of leaving it in until everyone had what they wanted?
WHy should Bull and EW be able to buy stuff when other people cant get what they want?

It would be up to the game staff to choose when they took it out but in my opinion it should be until either a) The dropfiles on high end bosses are changed or b) exp rates increase so these high level accessories can be worn.

I'm not saying bull/ew buy from the legend npc, I'm saying they buy them from a player, who otherwise would transform it into a level 37 accessory so they have to offer them an equal sum otherwise they'd just change it.

Should just re-adjust the lvls on em and look into few more weps with different options ie acc+ weps with lower dc.
