Introduction:

HMKR - HEROES: Mir King Returns, is being developed out of a passion for both playing and developing Legend of Mir Servers. Though never released a Mir 2 server, so this is where HMKR comes in. I've been watching the development of the Heroes files for the last few years and though I've not developed with the files until now. I'm enjoying what they have to offer in terms of playability for a server and so have decided to work and open a Legend of Mir 2 server. I hope to bring an exciting new server to play, though this won't be achieved without the help of you guys/gals. So as I develop the server over the coming months I would like to gain input from you the players.

What I would like, is ideas and suggestions from you all. What do you want to see from a server, the sort of hunting areas you want, what type of items and their use. What systems you would like to see implemented, how you would like the game play to feel on a whole. All ideas and suggestions are welcome, even the silly daft ones.

I am implementing a lot of my own ideas and as I develop these, I will update this post with them and see what everyone's opinion is about them and whether or not it's going to work. So feel free to comment in a constructive manner and leave the spamming and flaming at the door.

Completed Development:

New NPC Placement
New Teleport System
Pet Rental + License

In Current Development:

Updating Current Mobs -----60%----
Updating Current Items ---40%------
Restructuring Envir +-100%-+

Adding New Mobs 10%--------
Adding New Items 10%--------

I'm currently working on restructuring my "Envir", this will enable me to add and modify scripts easier to specific areas. Taking less time when updating the server with new ideas. I'm also working on adding in new Mob and updating current ones. New items are also being created, for each multiple of x10 in levels IE: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and then will change to x15.

Game Shop:

The Game Shop will be used, with many perks to help you on your travels. However GameGold is acquired by killing specific Subs and Bosses. You can also gain GameGold from completing quests or taking on challenges.

There will be opportunity over the coming weeks, to test different stages in the development of the server. These will be done in "Beta" stages and access to the server on a whole will be restricted for the purpose of testing. I will try and keep the testing stages to a minimum, so that certain aspects are tested in bulk. Also as I am developing the server on my own at present, if you wish to help with the server directly in one form or another, then feel free to send me a pm.

I will update this thread as development progresses, so please make sure you check back as it won't always be a bumped update.

Just an update to say I am still working on this, however as I've not touched Mir 2 files since 1.4 LEDU it's a bit slow getting back into the swing of things. It also goes to show how different things have changed since the early days of Mir 2 servers, though I am grateful for the development of them.

I will post up some more screens of work that I have done over the next week or so.
