I know a lot of people are past the 'summer holidays' stage (I am myself), but I just wondered if anybody had any plans to go away this summer?

I'm off to Amsterdam on 16th September, going with a few mates, my dad, uncle & their mates... is a joint birthday thing for me & my mates 21st's.
Should be fun.

Im going to amsterdam in august for 4 days just me and a few mates :P
Then magaluf in september stag doo about 30 of us from work
Then dubai for 3weeks over xmas / new year :P

Interrailing with a couple of friends from the 3rd of August.

The rough plan is Paris, Seville, Carcassonne, Florence, Rome, Budapest, Frankfurt, then Amsterdam to meet two different friends, then Prague to meet back up with the original pair, then Amsterdam again where we will be meeting another three people. 22 days overall. Cannot wait.

Having just finished uni i have a couple of options on the cards. Toying with them, one, the other or eventually both.

1 - The reckless option, spend a few k to do a 3 month surf trip in South Africa and Mozambique - get more professional coaching/best waves weather and people. Surfing several spots, doing some community work and getting my coaching and life saving qualification to go on to teach (for a few months somewhere hot).
2 - Use a connection to get a job, flights, place to live in Hong Kong - got pretty much unlimited options out there due to the contacts resources. And then from there i can use money i earn to try Japan/Aus/NZ on the way home if i wanted (or save more for the surf trip). - But that might be a year or so, and is mightly far away when i sort of have a lass here etc.

But no real holidays as such planned - need the cash, Glastonbury was expensive enough.

Sounds like an awesome trip tbh.

Wow, you're good xD That is obviously the main reason we chose Dam, though that isn't the only reason for going. Also got a few mates coming over from Germany aswell now - no, not german mates, got a couple of mates in the army based over there.

I've also been to South Africa this year for a mates wedding. Durban is amazing.

Just booked a spur of the moment holiday to Ibiza with my mate in September, all inclusive... Should be good.
