Hosteing 2 serves of 1 Dedi

Ok i have two servers they were hosted of 2 differnt computers just as i go to put my new 1 online 1 of my hosts coputers desides to go mad.

I pay for a dedi for my 1 server and i think i can cope with 2 servers runing.i just wanna host em both of the Dedi more relible and stable.

I have had a little go with changeing the ports changeing the file directory.I put it up when the outher server is up and it all loads with out error. But when u load Mir server up ever think is fine till you wate for the gate the open for people to conect. then nothing happens.

Also the sever cam up on the outher servers M2 server so i was wondering if you got 2 open all the programes twice?


Could do with a little help if any nos thankz a lot.

You need to change all sorts of ports.

1. Change the ports listening for inbound connections (3000,7000,7100,7200)
2. Change the intercomponent ports (6xxx,5xxx ranges - maybe others)
3. Change the ports your client Mir.exe connects to - corrosponding with th changes made in point 1.

And yes. If you want two servers, you open the servr components twice. (Once from your two folders). Unless you wish to share gates and have seperate M2Servers - but not many people have managed that heh.
