Ok, my current PC Spec:
4GB Corsair Memory
160Gb SATA3 HD
AMD 64 Dual Core 5200+
GeForce 7900 GTO
20Mb Line
Problem: I am currently running Vista Ultimate 64 Bit Edition which is not supported by MySQL so I am going to buy the 32Bit Edition tomorrow. I also have no idea how to use MySQL but a friend is willing to help me with this so It aint really a big problem.
Also heard that although 20Mb line is fine for us not too sure bout running a server? Thoughts please.
People that know me can vouch for me. I have been away from the mir community for ages now as I have a business to run but after a recent back operation I 'appear' to have plenty time available for the forseeable future.
Anyway, after playing WOW etc for a year or 2 im totally back into Mir now and I am willing to host a server as Im pissed off with the seemingly endless amount of servers going down after a few months or so. I will ONLY offer to host a server that is going to be run fairly and updated as needed. Please, no timewasters. If you want a server up and you are willing to get it updated as needed then I will consider hosting. People get bored or sick of servers that need bugs fixed etc and I dont wanna be associated with any of that. If it needs fixing it must get fixed so people can enjoy a long term server.
Anyway, have a think, and for people that know me I would appreciate a vouch ( Saskia, Insane, etc etc )

, well im creating a 1.9 don't really need MySQL for that, but ermm yeh im in Aus and if i host it would be 2 step lag for everyone else so i need a UK Host, i know you well enough on the forums and files you and insane have created eg. InSaNe. as im making the server by myself, it will take a long while as im not planning it to be one of these 10 minute jobbies.... you might not be available at that time, but ill add ya to msn and see how it goes.
