how do i get the password to a account on my server? im just wondering coz a gm on my server is causing a lot of hassle(hes got to go) i had to shut the server down because of it.

1 if you havnt already done so remove him from admin list

2 if you only know his character name and not his account ID on sel chr/db server gate click on record tools enter his character name that will tell u his account name and other info also you can delete his character from there

3 if/when you got account ID, click on id tools on login server (id/password) gate) enter his account id in here you can get/change account passwords and other info

4 I/p banning goto mud200/conlog look in files there for his id/character name and youll see his ip against it enter that in your firewall block list (only good if he has fixed ip)

Goto Dbsrv.exe and then reccord tools (the button) and type in his charachter name. Get his login ID, and then goto LogSrv and then id tools, and type in the id. All of his account info will come up if you typed it in right.

Not sure exactly how it works or how you set the password, but it is an "admin" command which allows you to temporarily turn a non-gm char into a gm char without being on adminlist. If someone guesses the testga password then they can make themselves a GM. I have no idea why it would be of any use, so the best thing to do is disable it. Do this by hexing the command to something else completely random (for example: @awpoiv) then nobody will ever be able to guess it therefore nobody will be able to use it on your server

Once u type in @testga and the password, u get FULL gm commands untill u log out
