How do i unlock a BT Voyger 2500 router?

Searced on google & for this & found a few site's telling me to d/loaf some firmware but it dosent tell you how to do it

Its done via telnet... or download the firmware and upload it via the router panel, referenced as backup/restore/upgrade.
