How does Refining work?

How does it work on this server.

BIO still required?.

I've noticed the inclusion of Emerald and Olivine Ore.

This is what was so good about Mir when it originally came out.

Someone will probably answer your question, but we'd have to find everything out ourselves.

Indeed it was what made it good but it didn't stop players from helping out those who came later on.

My first refine worked just using bio and items.

I think we should start up a refine thread. This is what's worked for me so far >>>

Great Axe -> DC 27>28 -> 3x Bio P15 Claw Necklace -> Success.

Could just post the source code of the refine script and work it out from there...Then again , not sure how much applem2 left in considering the algorithm

It's nearly not worth doing due to the harsh mining setup and rarity chance.

I got related question - stones are not needed for making gems anymore? Are they needed for anything apart from putting into slot on your char to improve stats?
