how important is attack speed

so I am currently using a gale necklace+3attspeed, and a dragonsword +2 attspeed, I have been considering buying a bdss, but it got -2attspeed on it, will it have a lot of impact if I make this change?

Wars relie on dc and speed here to lvl, the more you have the better, bdss are absolutely terrible unless you can gem the speed to 0 on it like some have, so buy a luck3/4 mace or just save for a wsb

yeah, BDSS is a horrible weapon. You're better off with a dragonsword. Just buy a mace.

attack speed is important. mostly in pve though, you dont need attack speed for pvp tbh. no1 should be getting hit by you more than once before they move. thats the only reason BDS (dont understand why people say BDSS its called blackdragonslayer) would be good higher DC is awesome for pvp as you should really hurt people with one hit but the problem is bds is only 2/3 dc more than wsb/mace so it iant worth it.

surprisinly, BDS came on head out of the test, compared to mace. How is that possible

Mace 0-33att, with 3 luck and 3 attspeed from galeneckalce AVG DPS 23.925
BDS 5-35 att, with 3 luck and 3-2=1 attspeed AVG DPS 24.825

so BDS is better than mace dps wise after all?

Try levelling without the gale neck, if you like levelling in no speed then buy a bdss, me personally prefer the speed, always avoided the bdss it's just pants, your kill and level alot faster with luck3 mace or a wsb and the gale trust me

You have the answer right there on your char. Take off the gale neck put on a DC one. Go hunt for 30 mins. Change the necky back to gale hunt same place 30 mins. Did you like it best with or without attack speed? Never mind which is "better" some of it is personal style.

BDS and shite, why do you think there cheaper then maces, wsb? No1 wants one unless you speed gem them to 0

I have bought one to try and gem the speed to 0.

I've tested leveling with it + gale necklace, you can notice its slower, but not as bad as people make out. I can level just as quick.

Ill try gem it, if it breaks it was only a few mill, i have a luck3 mace to go back to!
