How To Change Mob Spawns?

Hey Guys since as you all klnow ive been haven major problems ive had to redo mapinfo merchant and magic me self(atleast i did this without alot of help heh)

now sinve i changed the mapinfo(RedMoonValley was bugcave first floor lol so had to do abit of swappin around-Spiders werent spawnin their either nothing was) il have to redo spawns for everything

anyone know how to do it?

\Envir\Mon_Def would be a good place to start

Best idea tbh is go through every file, translate it and then have a play or your just going to keep running into probelms, cos next you will have to do MObItems which is what the mobs drop, then the npcs so you can buy+sell and so forth...I'm sure i mentioend all this before....lol

open the mon_def folder then open a the file you want with note pad you will see some thing like this

125 100 353 Elephant 200 8 15
125 100 353 AlbinoMonkey 200 8 15
125 100 353 AmazonSpearman 200 8 15
125 100 353 AmazonWarrior 200 8 15

the first number 125 is the map number the seconnd and third is the area for instance you would be on map 125 standing at point 100,353 so this is the empty space you want the mob to sporn at then 200 is the range of the mobs to soporn eg if you put 0 then the mob would sporn on point 100,353 everytime with range 200 it will sporn upto 200 cegments away the next is the number of mobs you want to sporn the last is the time eg every 15 min it will resporn (it will only resporn the mobs which have been killed)

spider99 - Click on my Name - it shows User info about me, on there you will find a web site - mine in fact. You sign up as name and then you are presented with a portal. If you dont get a portal screen but instead get a forum only then when you do is press the icon on the top right and its a portal

Now - on the left menu - there is a thing called Downloads - click that and bugger me - a MIR3 section - on here you will find ENVIR download... this might well save you a lot of time cos its a translated ENVIR folder, thats MOBS, Items, Magic, NPC -- the lot....

Upon replacing the contents of this folder to your server - go in game and all the mobs spawn in the right places with the right drops and the npc actually speak in english (wow).

Now i have of course been updating my stuff as i go along so this is not 100% the very latest - im afraid im not handing the lot on a plate so to speak but what is there is def ok and will save you weeks if not months of work.....

Funniest thing is ive known about your webside for ages Demonic, and i did download your envir file ages agowhen i first heard about your website but when i opened your MapInfo.txt it was the same as mine all screwed up an ****, must of re-opnened mine lol neway ive downloaded it and everythings fine, thanks matey your a star

No probs - maybe you d/l a while ago - that must have been it - i update the files you see as i go along and when i change the file it shows you new (i think).. Anyhow gald to see you have a good-ish set of file so you can tweak it rather than have a fight with it tbh...

I forgot actually you already been to my website as you menetioed this before in another post, sorry about that..Fingers crossed it all works a dream, im still working on them as they need a lot of tweaking though mainly for thee quests which might take Ages... Lol

I think it requires a Item in your bag before it lets you on and maybe also some flags set as well - at some point in time I will look into this as to what it requires cos AT anyhow is a bit of a Hard bugger anyhow - so thats gotta be some kind of crazy quest if its like One person....

oh hell yea ive seen the destruction Aquataurus can make ive had him as a pet lol hits about 200 each hit with 12k+ hp

ive been lookin in stress file for "change sabukguild" cant seem to find it and also im trying to do "CTRL+A" for Rest/Peace on your pets, ive tried this

STR_USERCMD_SLAVEMODE:Change Slave mode: CTRL-A.

and doesnt work is their anyway you can do it so it has this?
(all i did for this is change this 1 to Slave)
STR_SYSMSG_VSATTACKMODE:Change attack mode: CTRL-H.
(This 1 works but cant seem to get other 1 to)

One is a command, one if a message - what you need to type in is REST and then get your CMLIST to match that command and CTRL+A Works, Same goes for Horse as well..

Not all the Gm Commands are in the STR_Res file, i made a post about it as well as soneone else on here (somewhere) with the gm commands..

Failed, an also is it the EIserver.exe i need to change so i can see PrimalRage's flame? coz since ive downloaded some stuff from ur website i cant even see my char i did before(but no flames)

Nope:

STR_USERCMD_SLAVEMODE:Rest

And in CMLIST.DAT (UseKaori web site to decrytpt and look at/edit):

#1423 @rest

and then CTRL+A Will work as will the user command @rest

As for the flames on the sword - this is client your using, there is loads about (diff sizes) and some show flames, some dont...
