How to create an account

I have followed the idiot's set up guide and have got into the game once.

I have since tried again (10 minutes later) and cannot log in.

My first account I made using the addaccount program, and this worked fine. I logged out to alter the admin list and when I tried to get back in, it would not recognise my user id and password. What have I done wrong?

I have tried using the Lgoinsrv.exe program and this will not let me create an account either.

Have I forgot to load something?

I think you gotta go into C:\mir3server\Mud3\Logsrv\IdDB or wherever you put your files and delete the 2 files inside of the idDB folder then boot game up and make an account. Then it should remember your account and you can shutdown bootup server with no account problems.

you can use mir2 to make an account in mir3

How exactly do you use mir2 to make a mir3 account?

lol put the server name and ip in the ini's in your mir2 run it and make a new account then log out and run mir3 and log in lol

:-/ Just keeps saying id creation failed make sure you're not using illegal characters etc.

I'll try reinstalling client, i only have mir2 client no server files for it that'll still work right?

Like i said before it just says cannot create id >_<
So frikkin' close to getting ingame lol
Any help is appreciated


I've also got an account creator but do not know how to use it.
Any advice on how to make it work will be most welcome.

ok m8 when you use the mir2 to make a new account do it 2 time's if you get the error do not reload the mir2 prog just enter the data again and it will work

Mir2 worked fine this time No idea why it didn't the first few times i tried.
But now i got a new problem, i think i'll start a new topic as more people will notice that one.
