How to find GM logs?

maybe diff on dm2, to be honest never ever looked at dm2

but if you have logserver.exe then in there is a folder called basedir all you would need to do is right click the basedir folder and search for your gm char name

Or could just enable these two options in your !Setup.txt to '1'.

ShowMakeItemMsg=1
ShowExceptionMsg=1

Then the M2 server will log any Exp or level changes a GM does, and also log the item numbers and item names a GM makes, and outputs them into the main M2Server readout at the time they happened.

thing is the logs the dm2 server uses atm are pretty worthless
it's not got even half the logging it's suposed to have since none of us ever bothered to really work on making the server log things lol we added and fixed loads
but the logs usualy got deleted rather then fixed :p

i concur with TD, if you go into the dm2 and click on view and then lists,, click the came log tab, the right pane should show a list of all the items in your DB, like it does on the M2 server anyway, transactions of these items get saved to the base dir in the logserver folder i think? but not with DM2 it wont.
