theres nothing wrong with your net, theres no way to make your internet magically go faster. it is what it is, if u want it faster than upgrade.

This is not a thread to compare speeds...

I was basically showing you that my speeds are basically at what my package is, with Virgin.

If you think you have a problem with your net, call Virgin and speak with them. We cannot help you, we cannot tell you why its "slow".

my download is reading 6.77Mb/s on a super fast connection. I swear some asshole is leeching off my internet. It's been this slow the last month for no reason. Yet my upload is pretty good and what's up with my bloody ping lol.

edit:

ok tried again and it's slightly higher but the speeds are constantly jumping all over the place even if i have no internet activity, which one of you buggers has hacked into my connection and downloading dirty porn lol. There is defo something up with my connection, what's your opinion guys?

Below is what my best speed was, and that's what i was used to getting, wtf is happening now.

Perhaps go for a smaller model, allowing you to get faster speeds when in the water. The resistance against a larger net, which I assume you are using, can cause a delay in your swing-to-fish time.

If I were you i'd go for something like:

Practical in size, fast resistance vs water and can handle most standard sizes of fish.

This made me LOL. haha.

You cant boost your speed untill the Provider your with upgrades your line so it can handle more. You could however ring them up and ask if your line can handle more than what your receiving, They boosted mine from 2mb to 6mb without me asking them however im with BT.

yeh mine did the same, i was on a 2mb line, then suddenly got boosted up to a 10mb line. not a bad improvement for no extra cost.

Same, started on a 512kb years ago.

That got upgrabed to 1mb, then up to 2mb, then to 10mb and now 20mb.

Didnt have to ring them or anything, just got a letter saying we will be upgrading your line at no extra cost.

I was on Virgin 20mb.. the average download speed from a good website would be roughly

1.5mbps - 2.5mbps

Best ive had was 3Mb so for a 10mb line that seems fine, the only way that restarting the router would help is if you are on arent on a static IP as i will change your IP when you restart.
