how to make a mob drop something only for a quest??
lets say i need to get deerblood from a deer in a quest, is there a way to make it drop just for the player that's doing the quest???

In Q-Function add

[@ONKILLMOB(Deer)]

CHECK [700] 1 (flag would need to be set or you could use Namelist)

goto @isdeerquest
#ELSEACT
break

[@isdeerquest]

RANDOM 5

GIVE DeerBlood 1
SENDMSG 6 "You got the DeerBlood"
SET [700] 0
#ELSEACT
SENDMSG 6 "You did not get the DeerBlood"


That would give the DeerBlood but not defo in 1 kill

Damn is taking an eternity to get the deer blood, can it be done so it drop like 1 deerblood in every 4 deers?
wasn't there a way to make through the drop file in monitems???

if u wanna do it that way then do this


make a quest map like a farm or something make the deers that spawn in there jsut drop the deerblood (1/4 as u wanted)


or you can do it the way spoon has shown

that way is ok, but he gives me 1 deerblood and it stops givving, i need him to give me 5 deerbloods.

Take out this bit then,SET [700] 0, and after they collect 5, have the npc do the SET [700] 0
