Hello everyone, I have my server up and running over a router with all 4 ports forwarded but I cant get on my own server but everyone else can...It says Connection Closed if I use global IP. And gates dont open if I use LAN ip adress anyone know how I can get on?

Please reply A.S.A.P

Thanks!

is this your 3rd post about the same problem?

like I said.. you don't even have access to the router physically... ask your dad to disable "Filter NAT redirection" (a feature in linksys) also ask him what the model number is...

the other way... use your browser... type 192.168.0.1 or your GATEWAY ip.. it should ask you to enter a password for linksys router model number... there you can get the model number....

I can't believe your dad HIDE the router... just go to that router and USE your EYES... model number is right there in front of the router...

Ok, people, i have the way to make the server LAN and WAN if you are NATED.

Sample things:

Public ip: 212.121.212.121
Private ip of the server: 172.26.0.4

Configure your server with your public ip (212.121.212.121).

On a LAN client pc start->run->cmd

route add 212.121.212.121 mask 255.255.255.255 172.26.0.4
on the LAN server pc add the loopback adapter and write your public ip (212.121.212.121).

And vuala, it's working :)
