i cant get passed the char screen... lil help

wen i load up me server with correct IP's etc it loads up fine but wen i get to me char screen i click start and the screen goes dark and jst dusnt du anyfing else... can any1 tell me y and how to fix it plz

does the m2server come up wiw any errors like starttimer exeption or Not Ready 127.0.0.1 [the 127.0.0.1 is the ip u put in (either ur global ip or ur local ip)] and also did u set the db commander up EXACTLY HeroDB is case sensitive so if u wud put in herodb or HERODB or sumit diff from HeroDB it wudnt work.

it dnt cum up with any errors... jst wnt load up the notice box.. ill a v amess wit DB commander see wot i can du..

this happened to me aswell...i kept closing mir and logging in after about 4 times doing that it worked for me...
